Summer update!

Summer update!

Hello everyone! I hope you’re having a great summer so far and that you’re making TONS of unforgettable memories. Like I said in my last post, I’m going to be writing about my summer, so here’s the beginning of those adventures!
A couple weeks back, my wonderful mother took a couple of friends and I into the Cavs watch party for game 5. Although there was no such thing as a happy ending that night, it was an experience I will never forget. Soon after that, I had the opportunity to watch a good friend dance on NBC tv at Brew Garden… Her and her sisters were so amazing I had chills the whole time! I’ve been busy pretty much every day so far whether it being “I wanna stay home and read” busy, or “trying to make this summer the best one yet” busy. Of course we can’t forget the countless girls nights and sleepovers with my amazing friends, who I am so very thankful for! I did manage to make my way up to the Brunswick Summer Celebration as well! I ate WAY too many deep fried oreos and drank a little too much lemonade that week. I have no regrets, it was all so tasty. I also won a fish (name is Fred, he’s still alive)! Moving up to the most fun-filled and SUN-filled week of the season, we have the Fourth of July! Starting on Sunday, I went canoeing on Hinckley Lake. It was a great time, except I’m not a huge fan of swimming with fish underneath my feet… The very next day I spent on Edgewater Beach! My friends and I climbed the endless sea of rocks and ate way too much at our parent planned picnic (alliteration, I think I’m funny haha). Overall it was a beautiful day… I came home more thankful than ever, realizing that I have the most amazing mother in the world along with an amazing group of friends to share these unforgettable memories with. Finally, the day has come. IT’S JULY 4TH! Today started with some mother daughter errand running. Then I had to balance my time between three parties! I had so much fun “party hopping” and being able to celebrate with everyone! However, that’s enough about what I’ve done this summer. Now I’m going to share with you some things I’ve LEARNED this summer. I hope to share more of these in my future posts! I think these have made me look at life in a whole new way and I’m hoping they will do the same to you! They’re not just random tweets or quotes you read on the daily, these are lessons I have actually learned this summer and will carry on with me throughout my life.

Number one, life is too short. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. We need to love more and worry less! This really came into perspective for me this summer and I thought it would be a good idea to share. This also gives you a more positive outlook on life, making your days happier and more meaningful.

Number two, it is important to surround yourself with positive people. These people should bring you happiness, love you unconditionally, and respect you! The people you choose to associate with can either inspire you, or can drain you. We need to pick wisely.

Sorry this blog was so long, I just had so much to share with you all! I truly hope you’re having the best summer yet and look forward to hearing more about mine. Thank you for reading.

Sincerely, Andrea.

Andrea Schieberl – Class of 2020

Hello, my name is Andrea Schieberl and I am going into 10th grade here at BHS. You can see me participate in events for PBIS, VOFT, and Student Council. I don’t have the most interesting life, I merely look at the little things as they signify the most. So far, these little things have included spending time with my friends and family, making unforgettable memories, exploring new places around our community, walking my dog, bentley, laughing a lot with my mom, learning something new everyday, and cherishing every moment here, and yet to come. This summer, I look forward to creating many more unforgettable memories, relaxing, reading (I’m definitely a nerd), and bettering myself as a person. I was a previously on the football and basketball Freshman Cheer Team. This year, I plan on trying out for the 2017-2018 Cheer Season at BHS, in which I wish everyone the best of luck, especially the incoming freshman, for I was in their position last year and it could be very overwhelming! Some things you may see me write about in the future will mostly be what I have done this summer and what lessons I have learned throughout all of these. I think I’m funny and laugh at myself most of the time, so hopefully this will be more interesting in the blogs to come. Thank you for your time, I hope you’re looking forward to reading more about my summer!
